CLED-Campaign For Learning Disabilities is a registered Ghanaian not-for-profit and non-governmental organization found to help children and young people who have learning disabilities and educational inequities. They provide assessment and consultation services, specialized tutoring and community-based intervention programs that create brighter futures for children and young people with learning disabilities and their families. They also provide teachers, parents and other professional training and public education on learning disability and inclusive education in general.
CLED works to reduce educational inequities among Ghanaian children with learning disabilities and educational inequalities, empowering them to have access to appropriate special education, support and related services designed to meet their unique needs and prepare them for further education, employment, independent living to create brighter futures for themselves, their families, and Ghana as a whole.
Volunteer Responsibilities
One of the CLED-Campaign For Learning Disabilities greatest assets is its volunteers and interns. CLED provides internships and volunteer programs for students, professionals, groups and organizations from all over the world to contribute their skills and expertise towards our mission. Individuals with interests to support our cause are welcome at CLED Ghana. You can apply to any of these as a volunteer or an intern. Within your desired project, you will have the opportunity to utilize your unique skills.
