Volunteer Duties + Expectations
We believe everyone has the power to create social impact and social change. We know that every single human being in the world has the capacity to create a better world. But, when you're pinned on the ground and strangled, you can't create change. A societal system that exists to undercut and oppress you because of the color of your skin, you can't create change. A first step to understanding the elements that led to George Floyd's murder (among thousands of others) is to educate yourself of black struggles, black history, bias, and white privilege.
