Cinnamon Colomboscope 2016, Testing Grounds exhibition, – Arts and Digital Cultures in South Asia and Europe is happening from the 25th of August 2016 – 1st of September 2016. It is organized by the British Council, Goethe Institute (German Cultural Centre), Alliance Francaise and sponsored by Cinnamon Hotels.
The Cinnamon Colomboscope is looking for volunteers to work with us at the set up, exhibition, workshops and screening program for this remarkable and innovative event. Volunteers are needed between the 19th of August and 1st September 2016. You can choose the date(s) you are available to volunteer.
Venue: Old General Post Office Fort, (opposite Presidents House) Janadhipathi Mawatha, Colombo 1.

Cinnamon Colomboscope Testing Grounds will focus on contemporary art that reflects on how digital technologies impact and shape the perception and conception of the world. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to engage with audio-visual, responsive and interactive installations as well as image based artworks. Festival will also feature talks and screenings program as well as workshops. The festival promises to be one of the most exciting events to take place not only in Sri Lanka’s but in the region’s calendar of events.
Venue for exhibition will be the Old General Post Office Fort, (opposite Presidents House) on Janadhipathi Mawatha, Colombo 1. Volunteers will work a 6 1/2 hour day and receive a fixed daily payment (towards food and transport) and a letter of participation at the end of the festival.
