Yamaha Marine, a global leader in the marine industry with 1,350 employees in the state, is leading the charge against ocean plastics by sponsoring a coast-wide cleanup in all six of Georgia’s coastal counties. The coastal Georgia cleanup effort coincides with World Oceans Day on June 8, 2019.
Teams of volunteers will meet in 10 locations throughout the Peach State’s coastal areas at 8:30 a.m. to begin cleanup missions that will prevent land litter from becoming marine debris.
