Iridescence-Hope Through Art is a non-profit organization that teaches art to less fortunate and marginalized children in Sri Lanka. Apart from meeting its daily operations, Iridescence makes it a point to carry out kindness based projects. The organization is currently looking forward to inviting more change makers into their team. If you’re the type of person who wants to make a small difference that contributes to a BIG impact, this is for you!
For the year 2017, Iridescence is launching two new projects to make a difference in the community. The two projects will be long-term and are focused under the avenue of education, operating to teach art/craft/design to underprivileged children residing in ‘slum’ communities in Maradana, Sri Lanka and an orphanage in Kotte. These projects will be launched in February.
Volunteer Responsibilities
If you’re into arts and crafts, you can use your skills to make a difference. You don’t have to be a professional to apply – your knowledge and passion for helping promote instill creative minds will suffice to be a part of this great initiative. You can choose the dates and times to volunteer in the application form.
The deadline to apply is January 28, 2017.
Iridescence has done a lot of good work in the community to empower less fortunate and marginalized children in Sri Lanka through a creative mind.
